MM Yadav has 45 years of political experience. Considering the overwhelming public support he is receiving for his continuous struggle on behalf of the people of the Versova Assembly constituency, the opposition appears disappointed and unsettled. These remarks were made by former Maharashtra Minister and senior Nationalist Congress Party (Ajit Pawar faction) leader Nawab Malik while addressing a large gathering after inaugurating the election office of MM Yadav, who is contesting from Ward No. 63 on the NCP (Ajit Pawar faction) ticket. The office is located under the flyover near Khushi School at Baharam Baug.
Nawab Malik said that MM Yadav has been dedicated to public service through politics for a very long time. When the Congress party denied him a ticket, NCP leader Ajit Pawar personally invited him to his residence and respectfully offered him the party ticket. He added that the Congress party has done injustice to Yadav for the fourth time. Malik pointed out that in the previous election, MM Yadav, through his individual efforts, ensured the victory of a Congress candidate, who is now contesting against him.
Expressing confidence, Nawab Malik said that the Nationalist Congress Party would create history in the Versova Assembly constituency on January 15. He stated that the party has fielded candidates in 92 seats and is confident of winning more than 40 of them. Surveys of Ward No. 63 indicate a decisive victory with a large margin. He emphasized that MM Yadav is familiar with every person and every lane of the ward, and that his victory will usher in a new phase of development for the area.
Prominent leaders and supporters present on the occasion included Zarina Khan, Ravindra Singh, Indradev Shukla, Bharat Yadav, Jagan Singh, Lal Singh, Harishchandra Yadav, Birbal Yadav, Ikram Khan, Farooq Bhai, Fardeen Khan, along with a large number of local residents.
